Plans & what each unlocks
Crossdock — Square↔Shopify integration help. Last updated 2026-07-28.
Crossdock offers four plan tiers — Free, Pro, Premium, and Scale. Every plan includes the core catalog browsing and mapping experience. The tiers differ in which sync operations Crossdock will perform on your behalf, and in how much catalog and order volume they cover. For current pricing, visit the Billing page inside the Crossdock admin app (Settings → Billing) — prices are managed through Shopify and may be updated from time to time.
Free
The free tier is available to every merchant at no cost and never requires a credit card. It gives you the foundation of the Square↔Shopify integration:
- Catalog sync — Square→Shopify: Crossdock pushes your Square products, variants, options, and SKUs to Shopify. Square is the source of truth; changes you make in Square propagate to Shopify automatically. Up to 5 products are synced on the free tier.
- Inventory sync — both ways: Stock counts sync bidirectionally. When a sale happens in Square your Shopify inventory drops; when a Shopify sale happens the count comes back to Square. Items with Square modifiers are the exception — their counts aren’t synced (see Sync direction).
Order sync and modifier sync are not available on the free tier.
Pro
The Pro plan includes everything in Free plus:
- Order sync — Shopify→Square: Once active, orders placed in your Shopify store create matching orders in Square so your POS totals, reporting, and fulfillment stay in sync. Pro covers up to 100 synced orders per calendar month. Order sync activates only after Shopify approves Crossdock’s access to order data (Protected Customer Data); it is not active at launch.
- Priced modifier sync, up to 3 modifier sets: add-ons like “Extra shot” or “Large size” that carry their own price are synced to Shopify and charged correctly in the cart. A modifier set is one Square modifier list, however many options it holds. Beyond that number of sets, further sets stay unsynced until you upgrade.
- Higher product cap: sync up to 1,000 products.
Pro includes a 14-day free trial so you can verify the integration works end-to-end before being billed.
Premium
The Premium plan includes everything in Pro plus:
- Unlimited priced modifier sets: the same priced modifier sync as Pro, with no cap on how many Square modifier lists Crossdock keeps synced.
- Gift card sync: Square and Shopify gift card balances are kept in parity, so a card sold or redeemed on one side carries its remaining value to the other.
- Multi-location inventory sync: map more than one Square location to its own Shopify location and keep each location’s stock in sync separately. There is no limit on how many locations you map. On Free and Pro, Crossdock syncs a single location pair; adding a second mapped location starts on Premium.
- Priority support: Premium merchants get faster response times for support requests.
- Higher product and order caps: up to 2,000 products and 1,000 synced orders per month.
Premium also includes a 14-day free trial.
Scale
The Scale plan carries the same features as Premium at the highest volume:
- The highest caps: up to 10,000 products and 3,000 synced orders per month — roughly 5× the Premium catalog allowance — sized for high-volume operators and franchise groups.
Scale also includes a 14-day free trial.
Not available on any plan
Custom field mapping and white-glove onboarding are not part of any Crossdock plan today. Nothing on this page or in the app offers them, on any tier — including Enterprise custom plans, which vary limits and pricing only.
Enterprise (custom plans)
If your store needs higher limits than Scale, we also build custom Enterprise plans with custom product and order limits and pricing to match — email support@crossdock.app to start a conversation.
Changing plans
You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Billing page inside the Crossdock admin app. Billing is handled by Shopify — charges and prorations follow the standard Shopify app billing rules. Downgrading stops the features the higher tier enabled; your synced catalog and inventory data in Shopify is not deleted, and locations you have already mapped keep syncing.
